Terms and Conditions
Booking: A minimum of four (4) guests are required for our services. The customer contract and invoice will include the details of your party, including theme, number of guests, add-ons and agreed upon pricing.
Event Themes: Theme will be chosen at the time of booking. Please note that it is up to the discretion of SlumberBash Boston to choose exact décor and accessories. We note the customer’s preferences, but it will be subject to availability. We strive to present each party with its own unique flair!
Payment Schedule: Rentals will be secured with a non-refundable 50% deposit. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than ten (10) days before the party date. The final number of teepee tents will be due ten (10) days before the party date. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we can accommodate you with another available date. All pricing is subject to change. Once the customer signs the contract and gives a deposit, the price cannot be changed. The total number of guests are due 10 (ten) days before the date of the party. The customer is responsible for payment for the total number of guests given on this day, even if the guest is no longer coming. If there is an added guest, SlumberBash Boston will do their best to accommodate the customer’s needs. Please note this is dependent on equipment availability.
Cancellation Policy: The Customer can cancel the party up to ten (10) days before the scheduled party. The customer will forfeit the 50% non-refundable deposit. If the cancellation falls within 10 (ten) days of the scheduled party, the full amount is the customer’s responsibility. Total number of guests are due ten (10) days before scheduled party. This number of guests will be included on the final invoice and is the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery: At the time of the booking, we will schedule the delivery time agreed upon by both parties. Please be aware that sometimes traffic delays are out of our control. We will text with an updated delivery time if necessary. An adult 18 years or older needs to be present for delivery. Please ensure all pets are put away, children are accounted for, and that the area is clean and ready for installation.
Customer needs to ensure that the location in the home will fit tents and mattresses. This may mean that furniture needs to be removed from the area. Please note that SlumberBash Boston cannot move any furniture.
SlumberBash Boston allows for a 24-hour window for drop off and pickup. Drop off and pick up times will be included in the contract.
SlumberBash Boston will not be responsible for any personal injuries, death, loss, or physical damages to property due to the use of the teepee/tent or other rental items.
Set up: SlumberBash Boston parties must be in smoke-free environments. SlumberBash Boston parties must have clean floors that are cleared of all furniture. If homes are not smoke free and clean, we reserve the right to cancel parties without refund. Please note we cannot move any furniture. Please measure to make sure you have adequate space for all tents. The assembled dimensions of each tent are approximately 59"H x 48" D x 48" W (width can vary on how wide you need the opening) and the mattresses are 39"W x 75"L. Additional room is needed for walking and extras.
Pick-Up: SlumberBash Boston will pick up the items on a specified date and at a time agreed upon at booking. An adult 18 years or older must be present during pick up. SlumberBash Boston allows for a 24-hour window for drop off and pickup. Drop off and pick up times will be included in the contract. If the customer misses the pick-up time by 30 minutes or more, there will be a penalty of $50.
Missing or Damaged Items: Absolutely no slime, makeup, food, permanent markers, paint, or nail polish shall be used around the sleepover setup. We love our furry friends but ask that you please keep all pets away from the teepee tent setups as well. No smoking is permitted around the rentals. The customer is responsible for the items rented during the rental period. If there are items missing, it is the customer’s responsibility to return to SlumberBash Boston location, which is 1 McNaught Lane, Saugus Ma 01906, within 24 hours of pick-up time. If they are not returned, the customer will be invoiced the full amount for replacement of all missing items. Excessively dirty or damaged items will also be invoiced for the full amount for replacement.
Delivery Fees: Please note there is a $25 travel fee for locations 20-30 miles away from Saugus, MA and a $50 travel fee for locations 30-40 miles away from Saugus, MA. Please contact us if you are over 40 miles away to see if we can accommodate your location.
